REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Uni League Private Limited (“Company/we/our”) has been set up to inter alia promote cricket, amongst university students in the country, and has accordingly conceptualized a tournament proposed to be called ‘Uni League Cricket’ (“League”), a T-20 Cricket event for young students should be 18 years or above, enrolled in a college/university and pursuing an undergraduate and/or a postgraduate course.
The League is a trailblazing initiative with a core mission to identify, nurture, and elevate cricketing talent from the grassroots level.
For the selection of players to participate in the League, the Company shall organize and conduct trials in multiple cities across India (here in after referred to as the “Trials”).
In order to provide a streamlined method for Trials’ registration, ticketing, notices, dates, venues, communication, scheduling of events, and records of player/student information for the Trials/League, the Company has created the website www.theunileague.com.
These Terms of Registration must be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy and Website Terms of Use.

Acceptance of Terms of Registration
- Any interested player may register for the Trials by completing the registration form available on the Website and submitting all required details as specified therein.
- By registering for the Trials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Registration Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Registration”) consent to comply with all provisions set forth herein.
- In these Terms of Registration, unless the context requires otherwise, words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa, and words importing any gender shall include all genders. If these Terms of Registration conflict with any other document, these Terms of Registration will prevail for the registration procedure of the Trials.
- If you do not agree to all or any of the Terms of Registration, we recommend you withdraw from the registration procedure.
- These Terms of Registration constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its relevant provisions. It is generated by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures.

Eligibility for Acceptance
- The Company retains the right to terminate your Form or deny access to the Form if it comes to our attention, or if there is a reasonable belief, that you are incompetent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be 18 years or above the time of registration.
- Participants must be enrolled in a recognized college or university in India and pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course.
- Proof of age, identity, and enrolment in the institution may be requested and must be provided upon request.

Registration Process for Trials
You acknowledge that the below mentioned procedure shall be followed to complete the registration process for the Trials by each participant:
- Participants shall be required to visit the Website and click on the ‘Register Now’ option to initiate the registration process.
- The required one-time registration fee must be paid through the third-party payment gateway provided on the Website. The payment must be completed prior to submission of the Form, and all fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Each participant is required to furnish all requested information in the Form. The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any incomplete forms without any obligation to provide a reason or refund of any fees paid.
- Upon completing the Form and making the required payment, participants must submit the Form, along with copies of their valid Student ID, Aadhar Card, and the payment receipt for the registration fee, as proof of registration. Incomplete submissions or failure to provide the required documents may lead to the rejection of the registration.
- Participants will receive an official confirmation message via email and/or SMS to the email address and mobile number provided in the Form. This message shall include details regarding the Trial venue, timings and other necessary information. This confirmation message must be retained and presented as proof at the Trial venue to validate the participant’s eligibility to attend the Trials.
- The participants shall be notified by the Company with all relevant details pertaining to the Trial. The participants shall be required to travel to designated cities for participation in the city Trials. All expenses related to travel, lodging, boarding, and any other associated costs shall be solely borne by the participants.
- Additionally, updates regarding Trial venues and timings shall be announced on the Website and the official social media accounts of the League. Participants are required to regularly monitor these platforms for the latest information concerning the Trials. Failure to do so may result in missing critical information.

Registration Guidelines
- In addition to the guidelines outlined in the Form, the following criteria must be adhered to during the registration process and thereafter:
- Each participant shall complete all required fields in the Form with accurate and truthful information. Failure to provide correct details may result in disqualification from participation in the Trials.
- All information provided in the Form must be true and accurate.
- Any payment not received within stipulated period shall result in cancellation of the registration.
- Any participant who does not use appropriate equipment while participating in the Trials may suffer the risk of disqualification and such disqualification shall be at the sole discretion of the Company.
- There shall be no addition and/or replacement to any team and/or individual participant in the Trials after the registration deadline.
- There shall be no re-scheduling or change of time of the Trials, except as per the Company’s sole discretion and no requests with regards to the same shall be entertained from any participant.
- In the event any age fraud/manipulation of age proofs, that has been submitted by the participant, is discovered by or brought to the attention of the Company, such participant shall be disqualified from participating in the Trials and/or League and further action may be taken at the sole discretion of the Company authorities. For the foregoing purposes, the participant consents and agrees that at any time, the Company may, at its sole discretion, conduct an age verification test of the participant.
- Participants must refrain from ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise consuming any performance-enhancing drugs or banned substances.
- If a participant is found to have violated their self-declaration in the Form, their registration will be immediately cancelled.
- You agree and acknowledge that any violation of the aforementioned criteria may result in immediate cancellation of your registration or disqualification at any stage of the Trials/League, and further action may be taken at the sole discretion of the Company.

Selection Process
- You agree and acknowledge that participation in the Trials does not guarantee selection for the League.
- The Company and its appointed selectors will assess the performance of participants during the Trials, and the final selection for the League will be at the sole discretion of the selectors.
- The selection criteria will be based on, but not limited to, cricketing skills, fitness, attitude, and overall potential.

Medical Fitness and Risk Acknowledgement
- You certify that you are in good health and physically fit to participate in the Trials and have no known medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. You understand that the activities in the Trials involve risks of serious injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death. You fully accept and assume all such risks and responsibility for losses, costs and damages that may incur as a result of your participation in the Trials. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, you authorize the Company/League management to seek medical attention on your behalf, and you agree to cover any costs incurred for such medical services.
- You agree and acknowledge that the Company and/or the League itself does not provide insurance coverage for you or any emergency and that it is your responsibility to have appropriate health and accident insurance coverage during their participation in the Trials.

League Management
The League management shall have the authority to handle matters related to the League and be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the League, including but not limited to:
- Selection in Trials.
- Interpretation and application of game rules.
- Resolution of on-field disputes.
- Disciplinary issues and player conduct.
- Scheduling of matches.
- Any other League-related technical matters.
You agree and acknowledge that the League management’s decision on these matters shall be final and binding on you.

Media Rights and Intellectual Property Rights
- The Company shall have the right to photograph and/or film all matches of the Trials, however the Company is not obligated to provide you such photographs and/or videos.
- You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your name, image, likeness, voice and performance in the Trials (collectively, “Content“) for promotional, broadcasting, and archival purposes related to the Trials/League, without any compensation.
- You further acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights in relation to the Trials and League, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, broadcast rights, and any content created by or on behalf of the Company, shall belong exclusively to the Company in perpetuity. You agree to not claim any ownership rights over the intellectual property of the Trials, League or the Company, nor shall you use such intellectual property without the express written permission of the Company.
- You agree to pay all damages and to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the League management, its mentors, coaches, employees, agents, volunteers, the Company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, and agents from any and all claims, proceedings, liabilities, actions, accidents, death, injury, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) to person or property arising from (i) your participation in the Trials, (ii) any breach of these Terms of Registration, (iii) any wilful negligence or misconduct, and (iv) any claim arising from non-compliance with applicable laws, rules, or regulations by you.
- The events under the Trial shall be governed and monitored by the Company. All protests shall be addressed and submitted to [email protected], in writing, along with the protest fee of INR. 1000/- (Indian Rupees One Thousand, only), within 24 hours of the issue of protest coming to the attention of such protesting party. The Company shall endeavour to resolve all disputes within a period of 48 hours. The protest fee shall be refunded in the event the protest is accepted and upheld and in the event of a false claim/accusation, there shall be no refund of such protest fee. No protests, except those submitted in accordance with the procedure as mentioned herein, shall be entertained by the Company.
- The Company shall not be responsible for any goods/property that may be lost during participation in the Trials, and you shall be solely responsible for safeguarding your goods/property.

Code of Conduct
- The Company has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of Misconduct, and any participant found guilty of misconduct shall be disqualified from participating in the Trials and/or entering the venue where the Trials are conducted. “Misconduct” shall include without limitation, theft, fraud, deliberate damage to the Company property, violation of these terms and conditions, violation of sports rules, violation of applicable laws, match-fixing or any other gambling activities, use of banned substances, and any other serious or persistent conduct that the Company reasonably considers as amounting to misconduct in its sole discretion.
- You agree to adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct at www.theunileague.com all times during your participation in the tournament, including respecting officials, coaches, mentors, opponents, and the spirit of the game.
- You understand and agree that, in case the Trials are cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of Company, including but not limited to riots, civil commotion, war, pandemic, epidemic, acts of god, court order, or any notification of Central, State, or Local Governments, the registration fee paid by you is non-refundable. The Company shall make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Trials or any affected parts if impacted by such force majeure events, but it is not obligated to do so.
- The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms of Registration and the Trials’ structure at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes shall be communicated to you via email and posted on the official Website and you waive the right to receive further notice of these changes. By continuing to participate in the Trials, you accept and agree to the updated Terms of Registration. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must withdraw your participation from the Trials.
- These Terms of Registration shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
